As a mum of two primary-school aged kids, I am no stranger to the build up of photos on my phone, the piles of artwork and craft projects on the dining table and the end-of-year shove-it-all-in-a-box approach to keeping the family memories safe and sound.
I also know I don't have the space to store so many physical items, or the inclination to look back over hard drives of digital dust-collectors.
