Wedding Photography
Looking for a wedding photographer?
The first few weddings I photographed were for friends, and many now are friends of those friends. I enjoy having a connection with the couples I work with – after all, you’ll be spending a large portion of your day with me!
You’ll hear a lot of photographers say that they love their job, and rightfully so – getting to hang out with people and celebrate their special occasions makes for a good day at the office. I care about what I do, and it comes across in my work.
Wedding photography by Urban Safari is non-obtrusive. I shoot in a photo-journalistic style, documenting the events of the day and the details you have spent so much time on. Of course we’ll orchestrate some group shots, family snaps, and the bridal party. But ultimately I like to blend into the crowd, hunting those moments you may not even realise are happening. Your wedding day will fly by so fast, and I’ll provide the images to help record your day. If you have any special requests, please let me know – this day is all about you!
For every hour spent at your wedding, I spend another two hours working to ensure your photographs are perfect. I take the time to colour-correct and match images to achieve a consistent look and feel through-out the day. I’ll have you looking your best, but I’ll never fake it.
I’m recently engaged myself, and a wedding photographer was the first thing I organised. If I am going to spend so much time and effort organising everything, I want it to be well documented on the day!
Please take the time to browse through some weddings in the blog, or click the wedding link in the portfolio, to see if I might be the right photographer for you.
